The result was Greece became an independent kingdom. It wasn't an immediate result, in fact the War of Greek Independence spanned from 1821-1832. Alexandro Ypsilantis started the revolt by crossing the Prut River with a small army of troops. He was defeated but other revolts broke out the Peloponnese, Greece and several small islands. Eventually they were able to take over Peloponnese and declare the independence of Greece.
The Greek Revolution began in 1821 as a revolt against Ottoman rule, fueled by the desire for independence and nationalist sentiments. It culminated in 1832 with Greece being recognized as an independent kingdom, following significant battles and foreign intervention from Britain, France, and Russia. This successful movement ultimately inspired further nationalist movements in the Balkans.
