Representatives are elected for 2 years
When we elect a representative we do it for 2 years and then vote for someone else!
U.S. Representatives are elected for a two-year term, requiring them to run for re-election every two years. This system ensures that they remain accountable to their constituents. To serve, candidates must be at least 25 years old, a U.S. citizen for seven years, and reside in the state they represent.
