Why do writers use personification?

Without personification, we wouldn't have a good image of what the author is talking about, not able to understand their feelings, and not understanding the mood of the story.

Writers use personification to make non-human objects and abstract ideas more relatable and vivid by attributing human characteristics to them. This enhances imagery, evokes emotions, makes complex concepts concrete, and engages the reader. Ultimately, it enriches the story-telling experience.
