Answer**:Cyanide will be found in mitochondria of cell.It is a toxin for human body and it prevents the body from using oxygen.**Our body cells has an organelle called mitochondria which is known as the power house of the cell as it generates energy for the cells to perform their function.Cyanide binds to the enzyme cytochrome c oxidase which is found in mitochondria and inhibits the uptake of oxygen from bloodstream.This is the reason most of the cyanide will be found in mitochondria.

The disruption of the electron transport chain by cyanide would lead to a decrease in the pumping of protons (H+) into the intermembrane space of the mitochondria, which would cause the pH of the intermembrane space to increase. Since the electron transport chain is vital for the production of ATP through oxidative phosphorylation, cyanide poisoning would effectively halt ATP synthesis, depriving the cell of energy.
