A ball pit at an entertainment center contains 2,120 balls. If the machine must be run 8 times to clean all the balls, how many balls fit in the machine at once?

Each time the machine is used it collects as many balls as possible (however many it can hold). balls per time is the value we are looking for. 2120 balls in 8 times is 2120/8 = 265. so it can hold 265 balls per time.

The best way to find out how many balls the machine can hold is to divide 2120 by 8, and this gives you 265. Therefore, 265 balls can fit into the machine at once Hope this helps :)

The machine can hold 265 balls at once. This is calculated by dividing the total number of balls, 2,120, by the number of times the machine runs, which is 8. Therefore, each run of the machine cleans 265 balls.
