I need to find the slope, vertical intercept, and horizontal intercept of these 3 linear functions:

1. \( y = 5x - 15 \)

2. \( y = 7 - x \)

3. \( 4x = 2y = 12 \) (Note: This equation seems incorrect. Please clarify or correct it to make sense of the mathematical expression.)

Answer (2)

these are in y=mx+b form where m=slope sometimes b=0
vertical intercept means the y-intercept and the horizonatl intercept is the x intercept so the x intercept is when y=0 and the y intercept is when x=0 so the first one is
y=5x-15 slope=5 y-intercept=-15 x-intercept=3
y=7-x this can be written as y=-1x+7 slope=-1 y-intercept=7 x-intercept=7
4x=2y=12 we must get it into slope intercept form divide the whole thing by 2x=y=12 we can disregard the 12 and get 2x=y or y=2x+0 slope=2 y-intercept=0 x-intercept=0

The slopes and intercepts for the functions are as follows: For y = 5 x − 15 , the slope is 5, y-intercept is -15, x-intercept is 3. For y = 7 − x , the slope is -1, y-intercept is 7, and x-intercept is 7. The third function, once corrected, does not fall under a standard linear form with a defined slope but provides intercepts of 6 for y and 3 for x.
