To find the result we can use proportion
7 1 − − − − − − − − − − − − − − − 9 1 x − − − − − − − − − − − − − − − 1
Now we have crossmultiply, so 7 1 ∗ 1 = 9 1 ∗ x /*9 (multiply both sides by 9) 7 9 = x - its the result

To fill the entire aquarium, Jacob needs 7 9 liters of water. This is approximately 1.29 liters. We calculated this using proportion based on how much water fills a part of the aquarium.
