56, 57, 58, 59.
Add the digits in these numbers:

56 {5+6=11};

57 {5+7=12};

58 {5+8=13};

59 {5+9=14}.

Using trial by error evalution on the values which lies within the interval given, the number which satisfies the condition is 58 .
Using trial by error method :
The numbers while lies in the interval 55 < X < 60 are ; 56, 57, 58 and 59
Taking the sum of the digits :

5 + 6 = 11
5 + 7 = 12
5 + 8 = 13
5 + 9 = 14

The only value whose digits sums up to 13 is 58 .
Therefore, the number whicj lies within the interval and gives a sum of 13 is 58 .
