The order in which the following civilizations arose, starting with the earliest, is the Olmec, Maya, Aztec, and then the Inca. The Olmec civilization is considered the precursor to the later Mesoamerican civilizations and it flourished from about 1500 BCE to 400 BCE. After the decline of the Olmec, the Maya civilization rose to prominence, reaching its classical era from 300 to 900 CE.
Following the downfall of the Maya, the Aztec civilization emerged around the 14th century CE and lasted until the Spanish conquest in the early 16th century. The Inca civilization, while not geographically located in Mesoamerica, developed later, rising to power in the early 15th century and persisting until the Spanish conquest in the 16th century.
