Why was the Fertile Crescent a major means of migration in ancient times?

People wanted to migrate to the Fertile Crescent, because it had very good land for agricultural production. It gave them land to herd, breed, and domesticate animals, which they were just starting to do. Farming was also starting to become popular as a means of food and also in the economy. The Fertile Crescent gave them good land to farm and therefore a good place to settle down, rather than being nomadic.

The Fertile Crescent was a key area for migration in ancient times due to its fertile soil that allowed for successful agriculture, the domestication of animals, and the development of early technological innovations. This region provided a stable food supply, encouraging population growth and permanent settlements. Additionally, the Fertile Crescent served as a hub for trade, facilitating further movement and interaction among different groups.
