It was in the empire of Savafid where the artisans produced beautiful rags and pottery. Islamic artists’ products are very creative. One of their most known products that artisan produce in the Savafids Empire were the rugs and pottery, Oriental carpet also known as Oriental rug is the most famous rug they produced. Pottery and tiles are also very good products that artisans produced. They were able to create unique designs which are greatly admired and emulated by the people. The techniques, shapes and decorative motif that they used were influenced by the Chinese ceramics.
